THE UNITED STATES
MUST BALANCE ITS TRADE.
The cost of doing business in America is much
too high. Because of this, many of America's
jobs end up in China and India. In 2008, we
imported 2.5 trillion dollars of foreign goods
and had an account deficit of nearly 700 billion
dollars. This number continues to grow. America
is a net consumer in the world community and
our government is the biggest consumer. If we
are to remain the world's greatest economic
power or even a prominent power, we must become
a net producer once again. We can stop sending
jobs away, raise wages, and eliminate the trade
deficit by reducing the cost of manufacturing
in the US. This can be accomplished by:
A.
cutting personal and corporate taxes,
B. eliminating unnecessary government departments,
C. cutting federal payrolls,
E. cutting the unnecessary regulation that burdens
our businesses,
F. reducing our litigiousness.
